Juergen Goetzmann, the architect of the highlighted work Chair, Stacking Chair by Juergen Goetzmann spells out, The design is based on the required minimum of physics and material. The weight bearing construction consists of a single, endless pipe, which supports the weight of a person due to its constructed form of windings. The actual seat is fixated at two axial points and laying on top of a third point of the construction. The axial fixated points at the frame allow the seat to fold back and the chairs can effortlessly be stacked into each other, hence the name Stacking Chair. The seat can be easily removed, different material, upholstery, shape, color and design can be exchanged effortlessly..
